Jaime Hope, MD is an attending physician in Emergency Medicine at Beaumont Health Royal Oak’s Level 1 Trauma Tertiary Care Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She is an assistant professor of at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
She is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine class of 2005 and completed residency at Beaumont Health Royal Oak. Dr. Hope is the leader of the responsible opioid stewardship program in the emergency department. She serves on the Patient Experience Committee, the Human Trafficking Task Force, the BMG Service Excellence Committee and is passionate about promoting good patient-physician relationships. She has done national lectures on The Compassionate and Competent Care of the Transgender Patient, Confidence and the Imposter Syndrome, Resilience, and more! She is a guest writer for Emergency Physicians Monthly and has been a guest on EM:RAP, UC:RAP, as well as doing UC Boot Camp and EM Board Review recordings for the esteemed HIPPO education group. Dr. Hope is very passionate about wellness promotion and particularly enjoys two big workshops that she does for the first-year medical students annually – Behavior Change and Motivational Interviewing.
